Booie the 750 mile limit was passed long ago. Initially BMW said there was an issue if you needed a quart every 1,000 miles, then every 750 miles and now its 1.5 liters every 1,000 kilometers (designed to trick metric challenged Americans), which translates to one quart every 421 miles.

They also decided that the original quote capacity was wrong, its 9 quarts not 8 quarts, so whenever the car asks to add one quart, add two. So i go 1100-1300 instead of 550-650 miles between refills.

I drive in sport plus ninety percent of the time except in the rain.
