May sound obvious but is the lens clean? And if it is, can you see any condensation or other muck inside the lens?
My camera is not OEM. Instead it is fixed in the number plate recess and so gets dirty quickly, especially in bad weather which affects image quality significantly. But a quick wipe with my finger and the image is once again crystal clear day or night
