I think you said this in another thread started by a very young man in NY on LI who was on the verge of his very first M and getting a M6 and hopping it up like crazy or something like that was on his radar. Everyone posting was cautioning him about what this car can be like if you remove the nanny features. Have no idea how it got here though . . . unless maybe by intent. Hmmm??? You due for some rib poking for some reason?

Kids are cheaper.

The way some of you all around here smoke the tires I am not so sure about the stinky part being any better either.

Thinking about how much fun driving mine is sometimes makes me want to go out and hit the roads when no one is out there. I have no idea why - the way I drive these days it hardly matters how many people are on the road with me (except for bumper to bumper, stop and go stuff - hate that with a passion). Not sure about waking me up though. Not dreaming about it - at least not yet.

I told my CA via email to simply let me know when it's on it's way to the dealer from the port. That way it'll be like "OH HEY, C5 AND M6C. Let's go grab breakfast Sunday"
I don't really know you at all, but I can't see how that would be possible for me. No way. Getting the options I now know I should have on a new one would be . . . "3-4 year old child just before Christmas" time sounds about right.

Regarding breakfast - You guys swing out this way and I'll buy. Joking aside, I'd actually love to see your cars in person. The pics I've seen here look so cool. It's only about 1300 miles or so.

For me, that'd last until someone reminded me I had a new M6 coming. A week would be nearly an eternity in comparison.

Now that sounds more like reality.

About something completely different, but yeah - 3 hours sounds about right.

I don't see how you all manage it. I'd be going nuts. I think I'd try not to find out anything more about the order than it had been accepted in the first place. The anticipation would be just unreal.

I think this is one of the very few times where "ignorance is bliss" might actually be the best thing.
