Just my 0.02.
But if you are going to be actually changing brake parts, I suggest you do it with one manufacturer -- either OEM BMW, Stoptech, Brembo, or whatever.
Unless you know exactly what you are doing, and have a tech handy to do any clean up work, you really don't want to be mixing and matching. Even assuming everything fits and works fine when you install them, you don't want to have to face the situation down the road when something does happen and you want it repaired under warranty and then have to hunt down 3 or 4 different manufacturers who are all going to be pointing the finger at the other guy.
