This really isnt' a serious comparison.

By the time the M4 hits the market (the earliest probably being sometime in late 2014 or early 2015), the M6 will be transitioning to a new model.

So the real question is whether you want the F12 M6 now and spend 120k, or wait 2-3 years for F82 M4 and save the 120k now put it in a bank and earn interest and then spend about 90k in 3 years.

And let's not forget the likely 30k in price differential between the two cars, even in present value.
