This is the same diesel as the M550d without the rear smaller turbo. If you look you will clearly see the missing third turbo mounted on the same manifold but to the rear of the top smaller turbo.
That's quite alright, because it will be an easy and cheaper retrofit down the road just owing by how much more $$$ they are charging for that extra baby turbo.
