I just thought I'd share this, picked up my new F06 a few weeks ago, but here in the UK BMW do not supply a reg / number plate backing for the front, crazy as it just looked awful without it, so after an extensive search and testing, found the correct part and now very happy! It now looks finished and how it should be, cant believe BMW would leave this out, especially on the 6 series.
I know its a minor "thing", but it really bugged the hell out of me, so here are pics of the installed backing plate.
