Of course they thought it was an official Safety Car - yours looks completely authentic.
I really wanted to do SS this year, but my scheduling didn't allow it. Our cars are really similar (minus the BMS, carbon fiber front spoiler, and obviously the new wrap), so it would have been fun to run. Next year, I will schedule around the event.
Here's a pic of mine. I only bought it, Vic55 was the original owner and did all the work before selling it with a few K miles on it....
