Disagree...my 2010 M3 w/ DCT required the gas pedal to be pressed to move forward from a dead stop. Additionally, it would roll back on the slightest incline from a dead stop. Although, you could quickly press the accelerator and release, engaging the clutch which would then pull the car forward without having your foot on the accelerator (Low Speed Assist).
