Sorry to hear of your vibration issues. When I bought my 640d last year January, I spent over 1k on tyres, 4 different balancing processes, 4 wheel geometry etc etc.
In the end, I could never get rid of the vibration at certain speeds, specifically around 60-70mph. Yes it was not terrible by the end but still noticeable. Couldn't deal with it so got rid of the car, not just because of that but it was a factor. Great car but could not find the source and I think it's a problem that is common to this car.
