Class Action Precedent?
In the early 90s, I bought my first Acura NSX. They ate the bespoke rear tires in 5,000 - 8,000 miles. This was so unexpected at the time that people were blowing tires and crashing - unaware that tires could wear out so fast.
I ended up getting 3 free sets of rears for free from Acura as a settlement from a class action suit.
If BMW designed this unusual wear into the camber or whatever, perhaps they too can be class actioned into some sort of reimbursement?
