After much research I am pretty certain that I don't have active sound in my car. I think it is only in the M6. Is there something else you have seen to the contrary? I also took my trunk apart last night looking for this module on my driver side in the trunk. As you can see there is nothing there resembling this module. Thoughts?

Hey, I apologize for the information, I thought it would essentially be the same as an M because the active sound has to be plugged in somewhere, it sounds weird if coding it is the only way to deactivate it but my drone was very aggressive on my turner muffler delete for my M5 and after disabling the active sound, there is basically no drone at all; the car is a lot quiet inside but on throttle it sounds amazing. A lot of drone to almost no drone by simply deactivating the active sound tells me the drone is amplified with the system.
