Airbag faults, even if corrected still require a reset with diagnostic software like ISID to turn off the light. The OC3 sensor is covered in sealed plastic so I doubt you destroyed it - I'm willing to bet you caused a temporary short in the seat modules causing the ACSM to throw a code. These cars are far more robust than you'd think and are designed for mishaps like these. I hope the dealer find the situation as simple and easy to remedy as I speculate they will.
