All in all everything is normal to BMW.  However, my SA is a great guy who I know will take care of any issues if they keep happening. I also asked for a comparable loaner, but was offered either an X1, 3 series or X3. Apparently BMW took away the 5, and 7 series, as well as the X5.  |
What dealer told you about your second concern is correct. I have been experiencing this issue (actually it's not an issue TBH) in last 3 years with different 6ers...
All speedos have built-in error by law!. They must show more than actual speed and dealers do not correct it as long as it's in their normal range. I have seen the letter from dealer that the normal range is 10% + 2.2 mph or 2.6 mph (it's 2 and something not sure
). It doesn't mean that your speedo has 10% error! it means up to 10% is normal;
