Solution for speaker crackling anyone???

I'm just wondering if anyone found a solution for the crackling (or static-like) sound that occasionally comes from the speakers in our cars. I've seen plenty of forum posts mentioning the issue across M5s and M6s but everyone seems to point towards the fact that it's a random issue which usually goes away by turning the car off and on a few moments later, with no concrete solution. Most seem to think it has something to do with the synthetic engine noise our car pumps through the sound system. In my case it happens on about 1 of every 30 or so starts. This morning it happened and as it usually does the crackling was most noticeable when increasing or decreasing the volume (regardless of the audio source or if there was any type of media playing) and when pushing the throttle hard. Got back in the car about an hour after my morning commute was done and it was gone. Anyone found a way to permanently fix or prevent this issue?
