About the only issues with the Dinan flashes has been shops that don't install it correctly. And yes, there have been a few shops that have a record on consistently installing it wrong. In all cases that I've heard, when the customer went to Dinan itself, things got corrected.
I don't really have anything for or against Dinan or BMS, but on a $100k+ car about the only piggyback type of tune I'd be comfortable with is one where they piggyback a new ECU, one that can adapt in real time to engine/conditions. Those are going to be more expensive than the Dinan, and have no warranty.
That said, there is no denying that BMS has a good record (and reputation), but again in the realm of $100k+ cars I have to ask if it's truly wise.
