The main obstacle regarding cross compatibility is the exhaust tip placement. Japan does offer a 640/650 specific diffuser.

Thanks for reply. Andrew. The diffuser shape looks fit the stock 650GC exhaust placement.
em, I have checked the parts for 640/650 before, but thought it seems like not aggressive enough for my personal preferences.
