I had the 6.3 engine so I cant really speak to the turbo engine on the current E63. I will say the M6GC engine is in a different league power wise to the 6.3 N/A engine. It revs just as freely but seems to put down much more than than the 50 or so rated horsepower difference.

I should let you know that the N/A V8 in your E63 was a 6.2L despite the badging, and the F/I mills in the M6 and E63 feel like they rev more freely most likely due to the massive difference in torque - both peak figures and across the band.
