After a bit of a saga with BMW regarding the 601M wheels that are part of the competition pack, they have been replaced by BMW for 343M's. I think I marginally prefer the looks of the 601Ms, probably just because there are quite a few wheels that look very similar to the 343Ms. But it's still no comparison when it comes to strength and weight.
The rear looks a lot more aggressive with the summer wheels on now that there isn't such a noticeable inset as there is with the winters.
I picked up a pretty large and visible mark in the PaintShield film, it would have undoubtedly caused a big stone chip without the film.
A replacement for the PaintShield film on the bonnet and the unsightly stone mark has vanished. The film had been punctured, but there was no mark in the paint, so the film has done it's job very well.
