That is all well and good. It doesn't change the fact the CLS and 6er GC are direct rivals. Everyday car shoppers will see the Mercedes badge, cheaper price tag, ttV8. You can add the Designo interior on the Benz and still be under the 640GC msrp.

Actually, the CL is in a higher class than a 6-series. It exudes a more stately and exclusive feel. There is a reason it comes with V8 and V12, while the 6er comes in 6 and 8 cylinder versions. I put the CL600, C63, C65 right up there with the Bentley Continental GT.
