Well, there are always good deals available for any 6 er (including M6) because it's hard for dealers to sell these most expensive BMWs. If you look at the "BMW Group U.S. Reports July 2014 Sales" you can see in July 2014 only 384 6er have been sold in US while over 12497 3/4 series and 5676 5 series are sold:

It's even harder for them (as you said they are desperate) to sell a $110k+ M6 and for this reason there are always many good deals around with 20-30K off MSRP specially in summer and fall time since the next model is around and as ///SAL said you can get M6 with $100 more , but not everybody wants to drive M6 ... Just keep in mind your payment on a 140k car with 20k off MSRP (120K sales price) is less than your payment on a 110K car if you get the sticker price (and similar MF and Residual)
