[Bored of Audi]

has anyone noticed a noise from their 640d ?

When set off in a morning from cold I get a rattling / constant random clucking from the front end. Not too sure if it is central or to the LHS.

Within around a mile or 2 mins this stops completely and never returns all day until the next morning.

At first I thought suspension as that is what is sound like a suspension crashing noise, but it stops so I ruled it out. I did think does variable dampers take time to warm up ? do these cars come with variable engine mounts ?

Its been doing it for a few weeks now and I the dealer are going to take a look at it in a couple of weeks when I have my leather replaced on the drivers side under warranty.

Any ideas ?
