Thanks The change in pipe size shouldn't have much affect on the tone. At least it didn't on my 650. However the tone will of course be different on your car being that it's an inline 6. I know member 'ndinh' put M6 mufflers on his 640 and he seems happy with the set up. He has posted a few times on this and the 'other' forum. He's a wealth of knowledge!
