Removing the factory tips were the hardest part. You will need to remove the diffuser to be able to properly tighten the top screw, as you can see from the pic, you need the diffuser for this. It was not hard at all to remove the diffuser and it will make your job a lot easier.
I compared the factory tips to the Cyba tips. Not a whole lot bigger, but it does make a difference and just the right size for the M6. The weave pattern is 1x1 which matches the factory CF roof. It is more of a matte CF, but some of the pics made it look shiny. Overall, a relatively inexpensive and easy mod to install; makes the car look more sporty. Don't get ripped off by muffler shops who will try to charge a few hundred $$$ for labor. It took me less than an hour to install this. I hope this helps.
