I do not know whether Akrapovic is the "best" exhaust, but I definitely love the sound. It's perfect for the car. On an M6, I would not want to have a high-pitching sound. But that is, as always, personal taste...

Here are some pics of the Akrapovic Evolution installed on my frozen grey M6 with CF tips (which gives a nice contrast to the frozen color) ... sorry, pics are not that nice (car could be cleaner, surroundings nicer), but were taken right after installation.
