What I noticed is that 2014 has old idrive, how about 2015? Is it different in terms of software, or is it just the look of the knob?
What are other things I should pay attention to?

Thanks in advance!
The difference between the two is VERY minimal. Idrive I believe is the only thing (I'll be honest- I don't even use my idrive system whatsoever) I leave the nav on cause it looks cool- but only really use technology wise I use is the smartphone adaptor. Other than that- I'd simply go to the best deal you can get. If you're leasing, you'll get a 2015 for MUCH cheaper than a 14 because you can lease it based off residual value (as oppose to 14s where it's dollar based) you can use the LCI coming up with the 16s which hit the dealers this summer as leverage to get an even better deal.

If you're financing- or paying up front- then you can find some 14s for 80K or so. (Autotrader has a bunch)

Others say the comp package is life changing- but honestly, I have it- and have driven a friends who doesn't- and I barely noticed anything.
