Not a dealbreaker for me. The standard iPhone integration works very well.
Hands-free phone calls and iMessage dictation through Siri are all I really need.
And I'd rather not be distracted by icons on the in-dash touchscreen.
Oddly, "BMW Group" is still listed among the technology partners on Apple's CarPlay page:
