I think it looks great and some of the tech is interesting - that active suspension which gives positive lean into a bend sounds very good. It'll probably 'feel' very nice to drive as a result, but whether it remains too detached is another question (then again, our M6's are hardly the most feelsome of cars).

The AMG's interior is going to at least be a match for a full leather equipped M6 and it'll probably be more refined and insulated. As a GT, it'll probably outperform the M6, but as a drivers car I'm not so sure. A telling factor is that it's going to be fitted with Mercs (somewhat ageing) MCT gearbox, so I reckon the drivetrain package won't be as driver focused as the M6's. It'll also be sold at a different price point - probably more like a 991 Turbo so a good 20% above the BMW.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to this car if only to see what that suspension performs like!
