I don't run a 640, but my guess would be tyre pressures should be the same for both normal and RFTs. Given the opportunity, I'd get a full four wheel alignment, for peace of mind if nothing else. I take it you are running the manufacturers recommended size of wheel and tyre. Opting for bigger and/or wider tyres and wheels might bring the tyre(s) into conflict with parts of the suspension, and hence the strange wear pattern. A good tyre fitter should be able to spot this.
