Yes I did see that. With the width of an M6 and there only being two seats in the back it must be possible. It would just be a matter of cost to develop that setup for just one car.
The RS7 is rubbish. It really annoys me when I read a review and they don't talk about not only the understeer or the cheap plastic interior but also that it torque steers! The front diff is located beside the gearbox at the front and in turn the car torque steers, most noticably in first and second. In other front wheel drive cars with 150hp or 200hp a little bit of torque steer is annoying, in a 2.1t 560hp car the torque steer is simply terrifying! It isn't much to be fair but it is not a nice experience.
