Or throw in the i8 electric motors at the front axle and in the gearbox as well as the above which I guess would make it closer to the FF than 612.

I believe BMW has already started using those tricks. The M6 GT3 (concept) has transaxle configuration:

Hopefully the next generation of M6 will have the same configuration of AMG GTS (front-mid engine + transaxle) with ~47/53 weight distribution.
By front-min engine I mean exactly what you said: "Moving the front axles forwards of the engine". This also improve the handling by reducing the under-steering unlike RS7 (with AWD and moving engine forward the front axle) is suffering from under-steering...
