I'm sure someone else here is old enough to remember that car. I do. There wasn't nearly as much room in the backs of most of those kinds of cars ("personal luxury" cars I think is the moniker that was used for them). A lot of folks "dissed" them because they were huge and yet still had no space inside. If ever there were a car that was mostly just big and showy for the sake of being big and showy, personal luxury cars were one such type of car.
