The click-on accessory system was available for F06 up until production date 06/2013. At this point a change to the vehicle coding module meant that this accessory would no longer fit but it has not been removed from their website.
However apparently a new click-on system is in development and due to launch in Aug/Sept 2014 and will fit vehicles going back to production date 07/2013.

Decided not to let it spoil my excitement of ordering and taking delivery of one of the best BMW's available. You have cheered me up though, who has told you about a new clip system for 6 series later this year is it reliable information or dealer sales talk?
