Upstate, I'm going to call you BMW Guru from now on. Thanks for the info.

I'm going to pull the trigger on the 601's and use my Dunlop RF's at 245/275 until tread is gone. I know I'll be sacrificing rim protection but no point in getting rid of decent tires. From everything I've read, I should go with a 255/285 set up on the next step.

I also plan to paint or power coat the calipers blue to have something stand out. Trying too hard if I do that?
