Heck you can even dabble into Ferraris, Lambos, R8s and some rare model cars. Can I interest you in a CLK 63 AMG Black Series for example? I know, it's not a faster car, but man that thing is a fun beast to drive. How about a R8 V10 with 12k miles?
Be serious. He is worried about keeping the M6 out of warranty and you are trying to sell him on a low-end Ferrari or Lambo that is going to be many years old with old technology, won't have a warranty, and will be even more expensive to fix.

I would never spend 80-90k on essentially an old car....which is the Panamera (because the new body style is more expensive than $80k-90k and that's even for the base model). Even the M6 is going to be old in 1-2 years, too, and the prices will drop like rocks.

I am in the same boat but there really isn't much out right now. The new A6/A7/A8/Benz CLS/M5 are still probably 6-12 months away. Maseratis are junk inside. Everyone and their brother has a Vette. 7 series is supposed to have a major refresh in a year and a half....wouldn't spend that money on a 7 when it will be a dated body style very soon. Might want to just extend the M6 warranty for a couple years until more comes out.....
