Neither alternative meets my needs. Ride compromises and unsprung weight make the RFTs a hoped-for but unrealized technology. Seems like committed efforts by the world's great tire manufacturers would have this sorted out by now...a run flat that approximates the ride of a conventional tire, how hard can that be?

Goop makes a helluva mess and doesn't always work, depending on the leak.

A limp-home spare would seem the best solution for me, but they are filling up the space they designed for my spare with other stuff...
