With the 20s on the GC, there is simply no sidewall and yes, that kills not only the ride, but apparently from what I read, the tire as well (lots of bubbles). I did however get stranded twice with my M5 due to not having a spare or run-flats and that was not cool.

Speaking of M, don't those still come with regular tires? I didn't think they put run-flats on those (yet).
I love them on my GC for the same reason. I live in a remote area with potentially dangerous winter conditions. Roadside Assist would take at least an hour to reach me. I could freeze to death!!!
