I chose the GC over Coupe or M5.

I wanted the M6 over the M5 as I did not particularly like the interior of the M5. The dash is too high on the passenger side making it feel, to me, more isolated somehow.

The GC is way more exclusive than the M5, in the UK there are less than 150 GC and several 1000 F10 M5. The GC is way better looking than the M5, IMO.

I needed the rear seats and 4 doors. I've not had adults in the rear for long trips, but one 6 foot passenger commented that he was surprised how much room there was.

A bonus in the GC is that the rear seats fold down, but they are far from flat and you need to be careful of the seat leather if leaving them folded down. They have saved me big problem on one occasion so far when I needed to put the rear seat from my E39 M5 in the M6.

I think the rear of the GC looks slightly better than the Coupe with the higher brake light above the rear window and not part of the boot (trunk) lid.
