That's interesting... I have heard this 3 times in a couple of hours today now (lease vs buy).

I've never considered leasing, because I've always wanted the cash value in return for my payments.

Maybe it is something to consider now. I drove it today and the steering wheel is off center (looks like I am turning to the left, but I am driving straight), there is a shimmy in the steering wheel at any speed and the tires definitely have a flat spot (keep in mind the tires are less than 2 weeks old with less than 200 miles on them, they were new with the new HRE wheels).

The whole thing is a mess and based upon the meeting with the drivers insurance company this am, I am in for a fight.
