Powder coating is a little bit of a tough option compared to these covers, it's the best option for the look, but you have to disassemble the brakes and send them out for about 1 week. In regards to painting them, from experience the spray paint always ends up getting darker and changes shades from the heat and wear over 6 months to a year.
