I have a 2014 640I with 6400 miles I have being getting trans malfunction error every here and there and when I turn off my engine and restarted the codes go away and the car goes back to normal. yesterday I had Dinan installed in my car by the dealer. on the way home using my paddle shifters I was down shifting before a traffic light and after firs gear the car went into neutral and the engine turned off. today I got in my car started it up and immediately trans malfunction came on this time it will not go off. thank god I got home. now the car will not start at all. any opinions is it the Dinan ?
