My past BMW's have had a compartment on the left side, below the light switch, to store my sunglasses, etc. My wife's X5 has that and a glass storage above the rearview mirror. I don't even know where to store the owner's manual in this car. Other than those minor quirks, I love it.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know I had an outer lighter plug under the glovebox, I am also missing the plug by any chance can you share the part number.
I agree I love the car but they can do better having more storage room.
