I've never experienced this. I'm puzzled how low oil can cause a vibration, unless it's something built-in (like lane departure warning!) to remind the driver - but that seems absurd.
Maybe when mine gets low I'll have the same problem. Currently I'm at 22,000 kms on the original factory installed oil. The dash CBS tells me I have 10,000 to go before a change is needed. This is very similar to my previous 645Ci which typically went 30,000 kms between changes.
