Yeah thats right. I find the M5 seat provides all day comfort. The M6 seat is good for an hour or two max. They don't have enough cushioning so you get buffeted more when riding the curbs, and also during longer driving sessions, I find the firmer seat places too much pressure on my sciatic nerve.
I also don't like the look of the M6 seat - its very generic - looks same as a 535i multi-function seat except with integrated seatbelt. The M5 seat looks like a performance car seat not a mass market seat. Look at Porsche Panamera seats or Audi S6 seats. They look far less generic than the M6 seat.
