A dealer here in FL told me such a tune would void the warranty. However, the piggyback tune is easily removed. The control box can be disconnected from the harness in seconds, or the entire harness with control box can be removed in minutes. Then you can just use a laptop and coding cable to clear the fault codes, if any, and take it to your dealer for service. Once service is done, reinstall the tune and you're good.
