If the trim wasn't applied to the seat correctly in the first place, it will NOT correct itself. Trimming and assembling a seat is tricky business and requires a skill set that most mechanics don't have.

What I don't understand is why they pulled the trim off. The lateral movement in the seat is related to a bushing underneath the seat on the front edge lift bar. If they ordered/replaced the entire seat frame to correct this problem, they should have ordered it completely assembled. BMW was trying to save a few dollars and reuse your leather. Now you're paying for it - so to speak.
