I did not do the additional CAFD and other recoding as BMWAK suggested above. Everything works, but I may have background error codes because I took my car to service and they replaced the seat belts which require a software update and they could not do it according to the service advisor because of the retrofit. Go figure.
BMWAK, do you mind sharing the changes that would be needed in addition to the coding on the other forum?

Hi Thanks for the quick response.
The links on ebay are all compatible with each other? it's a real minefield trying to find the correct touch controller.
I've looked on the other site and the coding side doesnt look as straight forward as i'd hoped. Going to give it a shot though.
