After that the middle clip comes out easily and slightly pull the trim piece back towards the door to unhook the far end from the fender, unclip the light and you are ready to go. You will then need to remove the chrome trim from the plastic light housing, using a small flat head screw driver press down all the clips to remove. Then you can wrap the chrome piece, here are a few pics.

Very easy to do. Followed instructions and popped right out. Pulled buttom first then top and just popped lose with some downward pressure. Thanks alot for the instructions.

If you're running to HD to buy some paint, go further down the aisle and pick up a bondo knife/spreader. Made the job so much easier and I put painters tape underneath just to be sure I didn't scratch the paint.

Didn't even need a knife or tape for this on mine. Easiest set of side grilles I've removed. All I did need was a small screwdriver to slide in the light clip release point to get it lose from the light assembly. Took me 10 mins tops.

I went with custom painted ones to match my body color and light tint light markers from IND. Reasonable cost and much better than chrome I agree.
