Drove a Tesla Model S today for about 30 mins.

A very impressive vehicle and excellent for a medium distance daily commute, very quiet and handles surprisingly well. Lots of luggage space and even two small rear facing seats for kids on a school run. The large touch screen is impressive. Interior quality appeared reasonable, but not on par with the M6 GC or anywhere near.

Low speed acceleration is excellent, on a par with the M6 in the 30-50 range and is immediate when you floor it. However, above 50 the acceleration tails off quite rapidly, although it's not exactly slow. In the 70+ range it's about in line with the M6 in 7th gear, the M6 in 3rd gear will pull away very rapidly.
